Christmas Celebration 2023-24

On the cool winter day of 23rd December Christmas was celebrated merrily. Classes were decorated with stars, Christmas trees, little bells, tiny gifts, candy canes, and pictures of uncle Santa, his sledge and his reindeers. Children came dressed for the occasion; the carol group, with our own Santa Clause, accompanied by teachers went from class to class singing Christmas Songs spreading happiness everywhere. Children made beautiful greeting cards as part of celebration.

Christmas is the festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. Christmas celebration was held on 23rd December 2023, in the Mahatma International School [C.B.S.E]. The school was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in festive dresses. The program started with an information about Christmas and why is it celebrated; Melodious carols sung by the choir.

The event ended with cheerful Christmas greetings as the students danced to the melodious tunes of ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘We wish you a merry Christmas.’ The dazzling entry of Santa Claus added to the joy and excitement of the students. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children. It was a joyous and amusing program for everyone.

Christmas brings cheer and love and we celebrated it with the same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy among our children. Later sweets were exchanged amongst the students.

Christmas 2022

Christmas Celebration 2022-23

The month of December brings a lot of warmth, hope and glad tidings. To spread the message of love and good cheer, the children of classes VI to VIII of Mahatma International School (CBSE), on 23rd December, 2022 organised a party on the occasion of the world’s most loved and celebrated festival, Christmas. All students were asked to make card and few classes were decorated on Christmas theme. Carols were sung by the choir group. With Christmas song a melody vibe was created. Santa Clause’s presence made the environment more appealing and made everyone happy and joyful. The day ended with a fantastic collection of sweet memories and cherishing songs lead by music teacher Sandeep Sir.

Christmas and New Year Celebration Activity 2021

Date: 23rd December, 2021

Christmas and New Year Celebration was held on 23rd December, 2021 from Class 1st to 5th through online mode. Students participated enthusiastically. Kids from class 1st and 2nd heartily decorated Christmas Trees and made New Year cards. Kids from 3rd to 5th merrily made Santa mask and New Year cards. Some students sang Christmas songs as well. It was a great day for the celebration and everyone enjoyed it a lot.

Christmas 2021

Teachers sang Christmas Carol song on occasion of Christmas. We celebrated Christmas on 23rd December, 2021. Students participated with enthusiasm in the activities mentioned below:

  • Christmas Tree making,
  • Greeting Card Making

Christmas Celebration 2019-20 (Primary Section)

This year Christmas was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm in our school. The entire school was filled with the positive vibrations of Christmas carols.

The students had beautifully decorated their classrooms with bells, stars, streamers and angels. The story of the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus were enacted. The young students learnt about the spirit of giving and sharing and they exchanged sweets with each other. The students also participated in greeting card making competition ardently.

Christmas Celebration 2017-18

The festival of Christmas was celebrated with a lot of gaiety and ferrous in our school. All the students and staff members celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm. They reflected upon the teachings of Jesus Christ and his life. A teacher dressed as Santa Claus attracted the attention of the audience.

The children sang songs like, “Jingle Bells” and danced to numbers like, “We wish you a Merry Christmas”in a very festive mood. The whole school echoed with the holy hymns recited by the students.

Christmas Day 2015-16

The festival of Christmas was celebrated with a lot of gaiety and ferrous in our school on 22nd December, 2015 at 8 a.m. Students and staff celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm. They reflected upon the teaching of Jesus Christ and his life. A student attired as Santa Claus, attracted the attention of the audience.

The children sang in a very festive mood, songs like, “Jingle Bells” and danced to the numbers like, “We wish you a Merry Christmas”, etc. The whole school echoed with the holy hymns recited by the students.

Our Principal, Mrs. Beena K. Thambi, appreciated the wonderful performance put up by the students. She guided everyone to follow the advice given by Jesus Christ in to love all. Our Dy. C.E.O. Mr. A. L. Tripathi also wished Merry Christmas to students.

Cakes were distributed to all the students in the end.
