World Environment Day 2023
The United Nations Day for encouraging world wide awareness and action to protect our environment is observed as World Environment Day on the 5th June every year.
The World Environment Day was celebrated by planting tree saplings in the campus. They were planted by the Principal, Vice Principal, Senior teachers and the students of class IX B under the guidance of Ms. Hemlata Dablani.
World Environment Day 2023
World Environment Day is observed on 5th June every year. It is a day to spread awareness about protecting the environment.
As our School “Mahatma International School” celebrated this day by conducting different activity with different classes on 6th June, 2023.
In lower classes I and II students were having a coloring completion. In this students asked to bring poster colors or wax crayons.
The students of class III and IV were having cut and paste completion in this student were asked to bring the different cut outs to do the work with the given topics.
Each and every child participated passionately in the competition and took great care to color their master pieces neatly. Colouring is all about creativity, it promotes fine and gross motor skill.

World Environment Day is observed on 5th June every year. It is a day to spread awareness about protecting the environment.
We celebrated our Environment Day on the 18th June, 2022. We conducted a colouring competition for students of classes 1 and 2 and cut and paste competition for the students of Classes 3, 5. All the students of these classes participated for these competitions.
Tree Plantation on World Environment Day 2022
As part of World Environment Day Celebration Tree Plantation was conducted. The Principal, Senior teachers and the newly elected office bearers of student council planted plants around the campus as a mark of respect and responsibility towards the Earth.
World Environment Day 2019
We celebrated our Environment Day on the 10th June, 2019. We conducted a drawing competition for students of Classes 1 and 2 and cut and paste competition for the students of Classes 3 and 4. All the students of these classes participated for these competitions.
Environment Week 2018
Environment Week was celebrated from 11th to 15th June, 2018 by the students of Class I to Class IV.
A day is set aside every year to promote “worldwide awareness and action for the awareness and action for the protection of our environment”. The theme for Environment Day ’18 was ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’.
A movie about protecting the environment was shown to the students of Classes I to IV during the week. Students were also encouraged to partake in activities like drawing and arts and craft with the same theme.
Environment Day 2016
Children from Pre-Primary section celebrated Environment Day. The students marched in procession visiting every class to spread the message of conserving natural resources and environment.
They spread awareness by holding placards with slogans like Go Green, Save Nature, Stop Global Warming, Save Wildlife,
Teachers sang the song…. Save the Earth. Principal Madam took commitment from secondary students that they will help saving the environment, by planting more number of trees, saving water, energy and conserving natural elements.
