The ability to read and write gives individuals greater strength to deal with the world and greater access to information. Every year World Literacy Day is celebrated on the 8th September. The main purpose to celebrate the World Literacy Day is to encourage awareness towards the importance of literacy in terms of knowing the social and individual rights and duties. As we need food to live, we need literacy for social and personal development.
