The assembly of class Xth C was held on 8th August 2024, Thursday at Mahatma International School. The assembly was about the tragic events regarding the tigers and raising awareness of their importance. The significance of teachers was also conveyed through the celebration of Guru Poornima.
The assembly started with the anchors, as they introduced themselves and their class. They called upon the choir group for a melodius start to the programme with a prayer song.
The second event depicted the situation of tigers and their significance in detail. The speech was based on the objective behind the conservation of tigers, importance of International Tiger’s Day and ‘Project Tiger’.
To explain the matter in a creative and interesting way, the skit and the dance team was called upon. The act showed the killing of tigers in colonial India, the illegal poaching of tigers in the jungle and also the protest against the killing of tigers. It ended with the graveness of realizing the situation and taking strict action against it.
As the assembly came to an end, respected Principal sir gave a speech to explain the current situation and actions that can be taken towards conserving tigers, the difference between a Guru and a Teacher, etc.
The assembly officially ended with a vote of thanks appreciating the teachers. Principal sir and fellow classmates who utilized the time to inculcate awareness about protecting tigers. And also thanked the students and teachers for their coordination, talent and support, which brought this assembly to life.
