On 16th August 2024, our school held a special assembly dedicated to the theme of Empathy, a quality that lies at the heart of meaningful human connections and a compassionate society. The assembly aimed to inspire students to cultivate empathy in their daily lives, fostering a more understanding and supportive community.
The event began with a beautiful poem recitation, followed by a skit performance that depicted various everyday situations where empathy plays a crucial role. From comforting a friend in distress to helping the friend, the skit highlighted the small yet significant ways we can practice empathy. The performances were heartfelt and relatable, effectively conveying the message that empathy is essential in all aspects of life.
The event was then followed by dance performances by the boys and the girls of VIII C and a beautiful song by the students.
Principal sir concluded the assembly with closing remarks, reiterating the importance of empathy in creating a better world. He encouraged students to carry the lessons of the day into their interactions both within and outside the school. His words were a call to action, inspiring everyone to make empathy a guiding principle in their lives.
