Grade-8 Students of Mahatma International School, CBSE, Panvel participated in the Lezim Competition on Ambedkar Jayanti 2025.
On the occasion of Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti celebrated on 14th April 2025, the Grade 8 students of Mahatma International School, CBSE, Panvel actively participated in a vibrant Lezim competition organized by Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) at Ambedkar Chowk, Old Panvel. The event was a tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, promoting cultural awareness and community spirit
Dressed in traditional attire and full of enthusiasm, the students showcased their energy and coordination through the rhythmic movements of Lezim, a traditional Maharashtrian folk dance. Their performance received appreciation from the audience and dignitaries present, reflecting the school’s commitment to encouraging cultural participation and civic engagement among students.
This memorable participation not only honoured Dr. Ambedkar’s vision of unity and progress but also helped instill a deep sense of pride and cultural identity among the young participants.
