On 21st April 2025, Mahatma International School organized a vibrant and engaging Poetry Recitation Competition for students of Grades 8th and 9th. The event aimed to nurture a love for literature and enhance public speaking skills among students. Participants showcased their talent by reciting a diverse range of poems, from classic to contemporary, with impressive expression, voice modulation, and confidence. The event not only encouraged creativity but also boosted the students’ self-confidence and appreciation for the art of poetry. The competition was judged on the performances based on clarity, emotion, pronunciation and overall presentation.
The enthusiastic participation and the high level of performance made the event a memorable success. Winners were awarded certificates, while all participants received appreciation for their efforts.
