On 22nd April, the students of Grade 9th A, at Mahatma International School conducted a special assembly to commemorate World Earth Day, focusing on the theme of environmental awareness and sustainability. The program began with a thought-provoking mime act, beautifully portraying the urgent need to protect Mother Earth from pollution and deforestation.
Following this, the students presented a powerful street play that highlighted key issues such as climate change, plastic pollution, and the importance of individual responsibility in conserving nature. The energy and emotion conveyed through their performance left a lasting impact on the audience.
The assembly concluded on a melodious note with a group song dedicated to Earth, spreading a message of hope, unity, and the need to work together for a greener future.
