School activities allow both, students and teachers, to make the educational process in and out of the classroom entertaining and engaging. They also help students get acquainted with each other or meet new friends at the beginning of the school year, break the monotony in the classroom, and do something different than the regular activities they engage in.
Mahatma International School (C.B.S.E) organized a bookmark and pen holder making activity on 5th August 2024, for students of class III to V. The students made colorful bookmarks using handmade paper, paint, glitter, etc.
They enjoyed making bookmarks as it was an opportunity for them to display their talent and creativity. It was indeed not only learning but also a fun-filled activity. The students worked enthusiastically and experimented with different shades of colors to flaunt their artistic imagination.
A pen- stand is a basic desk accessory which is very useful for school children. It helps them to keep their writing instruments upright, manage other stationary items and organize their study table.
Children made many beautiful pen- stands of different size and design. They decorated their creations nicely with colored papers, ribbons, cartoon stickers, etc. They participated with enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed this craft activity.
Students worked enthusiastically and experimented with different shades of colors to flaunt their artistic imagination. They created and decorated using innovative ideas to make them look more interesting and to capture the reader’s imagination. Such activities teach students the most valuable lessons of life in relatively less time and at the same time keep their competitive spirits high.
The main objective of this activity was to teach the children the art of making useful items from household waste, develop good habits in them to keep their possessions neat and clean and to instill in them a sense of care towards our environment.
