Community Service Day – A Heartwarming Initiative
On 31st January 2026, Mahatma International School CBSE observed Community Service Day, where students of Class IX extended their love and care to elderly guests from Param Shanti Dham Old Age Trust, Taloja. The event was a heartfelt initiative aimed at spreading joy and showing gratitude to the senior members of society.
A group of seven teachers, along with two supporting staff members and nine students, welcomed the elderly guests and took them to Pillai College for the day’s activities. The program, held from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M., was filled with warmth, entertainment, and meaningful interactions. The students engaged them in conversations, performed music and dance, and organized fun activities to make them feel special.
A wholesome meal was served, ensuring the guests felt valued and cared for. As the event came to an end, the students bid them a warm farewell and escorted them back to the ashram.
The initiative was a wonderful learning experience, instilling empathy, kindness, and respect for the elderly. It was a day of joy, love, and cherished memories for both the students and their special guests.
