M.I.S. conducted a special assembly on Saturday 30th January, 2016 to observe Martyr’s Day. The Principal Mrs. Beena k. Thambi told the students about the importance of the day. She reminded them that Gandhi’s sacrifice should be valued highly and that all should work together to materialize his dreams about India. To honour Mahatma Gandhi 2 minutes silence was observed. The favorite bhajans of Gandhiji, ‘Raghupati Raghava’ and Vaishnav Janki were sung by the students in unison.
