On 6th August 2024, Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Campus in Rasayani celebrated Teachers’ Day and Onam with great enthusiasm and meticulous preparation. The day began early as the dedicated staff worked together to transform the campus into a vibrant space reflecting the festive spirit. Colorful Rangoli designs adorned the entrances, and traditional floral decorations created an inviting atmosphere.
The celebration commenced with a sumptuous breakfast, featuring an array of South Indian delicacies. The kitchen staff prepared freshly made upma ensuring everyone enjoyed a hearty start to the day. As teachers gathered, they shared laughter and camaraderie over their meals, setting a joyful tone for the festivities.
The highlight of the day was the grand Onam Sadhya, served for lunch. The culinary team took great care in crafting a traditional feast, featuring a variety of vegetarian dishes presented beautifully on banana leaves. Each dish, from the rich aviyal to the sweet payasam, was a testament to the staff’s commitment to celebrating the cultural significance of Onam.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere was filled with gratitude as the management expressed their appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the teachers. Heartfelt speeches and thoughtful gestures highlighted the importance of educators in shaping young minds. And then followed the amazing dance performances by teachers of all the different branches. This combined celebration not only honored teachers but also fostered a sense of community and cultural appreciation, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a day well spent at Pillai Campus.
