On 5th December, 2024, students from classes 8, 9, and 10 participated in the prestigious Makerthon 2024 at Dr. Pillai College of Engineering, New Panvel. The event was a remarkable opportunity for the students to showcase their creativity, technical skills, and teamwork.
Two teams represented our school: the Science and Technology team and the Creativity team. The Science and Technology team engaged in an exciting challenge titled “Catapalooza,” which required them to design and construct a functional catapult using materials provided by the organizers. The Creativity team took on the topic “Robust Connect – Sturdy Bridge Model,” which focused on building an innovative and durable bridge model.
With enthusiasm and determination, the students executed their models skillfully, displaying ingenuity and collaboration. The event provided them with invaluable hands-on experience in model-making and problem-solving. It was a day of learning, growth, and inspiration, leaving the participants enriched with new knowledge and confidence.
