A Poetry Recitation Competition was conducted for Class 6 (Divisions A, B and C) at Mahatma International School, C.B.S.E., from 20th to 26th November 2025.
The event aimed to build confidence, improve pronunciation, and promote expressive reading among students. Participants enthusiastically recited poems on a variety of themes, demonstrating clear articulation, voice modulation, and creativity in expression.
Teachers guided the students throughout the activity, encouraging them to understand the meaning behind the poems and present them with proper emotion. The competition also helped students develop stage confidence, listening skills, and respect for literary forms.
Students were evaluated on expression, presentation, memorisation, and overall delivery. The event concluded with appreciation for the sincere efforts of all participants, making it a meaningful and engaging literary experience.
