A meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) was convened on 2nd August 2025, at Mahatma International School (CBSE Secondary) for the purpose of electing the Executive Committee members for the academic session.
The proceedings commenced with a formal address by the Principal, who highlighted the significance of the PTA in fostering collaboration between parents and teachers to promote academic excellence and overall student development. The election was conducted in a fair and transparent manner, ensuring equal participation of all present. The Executive Committee was duly constituted with elected representatives from among the parent body.
During the course of the meeting, parents articulated certain grievances, primarily concerning academic workload, the scheduling of co-curricular activities and communication gaps between school and home. These concerns were duly noted by the school authorities. Constructive solutions were proposed, including the institution of more structured parent-teacher interactions, careful balancing of academic and co-curricular schedules and provision of additional academic support where required.
The meeting concluded on a constructive note, with parents expressing appreciation for the responsiveness of the school administration. The newly elected Executive Committee resolved to work in close association with the school to strengthen the educational environment and uphold the welfare of the student community.
