On 8th August 2025, Mahatma International School celebrated the cherished festival of India, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, honouring the sacred bond between brothers and sisters. On this special day, sisters lovingly tie a rakhi around their brother’s wrist, symbolizing their love, prayers, and protection. In return, brothers pledge to safeguard their sisters’ lives forever.
To make this day special, students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 participated with great enthusiasm in a Rakhi Making Competition. Each rakhi made by them showcased their creative talents and expressed their love and affection for their siblings. The beautifully designed rakhis, adorned with colourful stones and threads, filled everyone with joy. The best rakhis made by the students were awarded certificates.
